(When you call, they will connect you with a taxi near your location.)

💡 Tip: When calling, state your full address and, if possible, a nearby landmark (e.g. station, hotel, square). They will give you a taxi identification number before it arrives.

Taxis from the Airports (Fiumicino & Ciampino)

🚖 Official Taxi Stands
At both Fiumicino and Ciampino airports you’ll find official white taxis with a TAXI sign on the roof and a visible license number on the doors. These are the only authorized, regular taxis.

💶 Fixed Fares (set by the City of Rome)
To avoid surprises, official taxis must not exceed these fixed, all-inclusive fares to/from the airports:

  • Fiumicino ⇄ Rome (within the Aurelian Walls): ~€55

  • Ciampino ⇄ Rome (within the Aurelian Walls): ~€40

  • Fiumicino ⇄ Tiburtina Station: ~€60

  • Fiumicino ⇄ Ostiense Station: ~€50

  • Ciampino ⇄ Tiburtina Station: ~€40

(Fares may vary slightly due to official updates.)

👉 You’ll find taxis by exiting the arrivals area and following the “TAXI” signs. Do not accept offers from drivers outside the official taxi line.

NCC – Chauffeur-Driven Private Car Service

If you prefer a service booked in advance (often more comfortable and with meet-and-greet at the airport or train station), you can choose an NCC. These services must be reserved ahead of time via phone, app, or email, and the driver will wait for you with a sign at the exit.

By Public Transport

Leonardo Express Train

  • Where to catch it: inside the airport, following the signs “Trains / Leonardo Express”

  • Destination: Roma Termini

  • Duration: about 32 minutes

  • Frequency: every 15 minutes

  • Arrival: Roma Termini Station (main platforms)

Metro Line A (from Termini)

  • Inside the station, follow the signs for Metro Line A

  • Direction: Battistini

  • Get off at: Lepanto

  • Duration: about 7–8 minutes

  • Number of stops: 5 (Termini → Repubblica → Barberini → Spagna → Flaminio → Lepanto)

 

On Foot from Lepanto to Piazza Adriana 18

After exiting Lepanto metro station, follow the signs for Viale Giulio Cesare.
Continue in the direction of Castel Sant’Angelo.

Recommended route:

  • Walk along Viale Giulio Cesare

  • Continue onto Via Crescenzio

  • You will arrive at Piazza Adriana, right next to Castel Sant’Angelo
